Het doel is het opvangen en begeleiden van ongehuwde, zwangere vrouwen en hen begeleiden naar een zelfstandig bestaan, waarbij het bij elkaar houden van moeder en kind centraal staat. Begeleiding wordt geboden:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; zwangerschap en opvoeding;<br \/>\n&#8211; contact met familie herstellen;<br \/>\n&#8211; scholing en vorming;<br \/>\n&#8211; eigen inkomsten ontwikkelen.<\/p>\n<p>Door dit werk probeert Tine Haaima een verandering te bewerkstelligen in de positie van ongehuwde moeders in de samenleving van Sri Lanka. Moeder en Kindzorg is het uitgangspunt en door de jaren heen is de aandacht voor moeder en kind uitgebreid naar projecten voor een beter bestaan.
